Meet our Founder and President:

Dr. Gomez start practicing Medicine in 1995. His first experience in the Medical field was working with a Mission Clinic in the Peruvian Amazon. Dr. Gomez began his interest in wound care in 2003 when he start his training in Family Medicine. He is passionate teaching his patients about the etiology (cause) of their wounds and how to prevent its recurrence.

Dr. Gomez has been interested doing research in Hyperbaric Medicine since he did his Fellowship in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine at Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2009. Dr. Gomez has been one of the promoting physicians for limb salvage on Southwest Michigan and Northwest Georgia. He has been coordinating services with interventionist cardiologist and vascular surgeons for limb salvage. He is Board Certified in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine and is currently Wound Care Certified (WCC) from the National Alliance for Wound Care.
